In the eroge industry, a lot of limited goods are ordered solely for the tokuten and not for the actual game! The game is immediately exchanged for a refund (as long as the box remains unopened).  Sofmap allows this at the rate of 3,000yen per return. I only just discovered Sofmap sells second-hand figures online! This might be one of few places you’ll be able to purchase older, out-of-print products… Also see Suruga-ya as well. Both of these places sell eroge and accept foreign credit cards. Suruga-ya is willing to ship internationally. For Sofmap you will have to use a proxy.
